T-bred 1800XP OCing @ 11x185 FSB, 1.89V and aftermarket heatsink.

Yes, the heatsink is very hot to touch and I know this is the correct Temp because my Asus shut down few times during game play (GodMode) also in MB5 Log. If I back down the Voltage the system will not stables so I leave it as it is. Let see how long my CPU will melt down just for curiosity!

Let's just hope it don't decide to take a few components with it... Seriously, do you have to have your speed that high?

1.89 -> 1.90v is pushin it, however some can run for months at 2+ v...

Who knows, but if you value that chip @ all ( which it seems that you don't ) i would back it down a tad...

Yes. At first, I didn't believe it; but after moinitoring it (Bios, MB5, physically touch on the heatsink) and also my Asus shutdown a few times (CPU Protection) then I very sure it is a correct Temp.

I think 85 to 90 is the highest temp I've heard somone run it at. Even after hours at 1.8volts mine has never reached above 50C. You might want to reseat that processor and make sure the paste is making really good contact, or else it will fry up real soon. That temp is completely unreasonable no matter what heatsink.

I don't plan on backing it off. Since CPUs price are pretty low, I'll just buy another. I'll report back when it actually melt.

What a waste of money. All of that to have a little over 2 ghz? Imao, I break that with little effort. You should of sold your chip before you screwed it up and used that money and a little extra to get a 2500+. Oh well amd needs the money and your are certainly helping them.
