I just called them and I found out that I didn't get free shipping. I was also told that it is too late to cancel. I knew I was taking that risk when I ordered though and $25 for all that stuff isn't bad.

But I still want to try to get the deal, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should say. I told the rep at HSN that the deal was through Edeals.com and she talked to her manager and then told me that I should take up the issue with Edeals.com. Can I mention the E-mail? I know that some of you actually got the deal - what did you say to the rep?

I also set a $17 limit on the charge with my MBNA card and got an email that my bank would not approve the charge. Looks like they tried to charge the extra $10+ shipping.

I talked to my friend and found they took them up on the other offer for $25 which is an automatic-ship offer.

Seems like a great deal, just wondering how the original poster got away with the link to a coupon site in his message.
😕

sxr7171, what you should do is save your e-mail confirmation and use it to protest the charge to your credit card company. Be sure to do this IN WRITING, and within 60 days of receiving the first bill that shows the incorrect charge.

"Incorrect charge"????? If you agreed to pay shipping costs when you completed the transaction on www.hsn.com
Why is that charge now "incorrect"?

Did HSN.com tell you that the steaks were going to be shipped for free???? No
When you entered your credit card numbers on the HSN website did the final price INCLUDED shipping???? Yes

Disputing a charge that you consciously and freely agreed to pay sounds like bullsh*t to me.

Gee, maybe I'll dispute my entire credit card bill this month because I didn't think that I'd actually have to pay for all the things that I bought

Give me a freaking break. If you agreed to pay the $25 for steaks to be delivered to your home, you should pay it.

I agree wholeheartedly. Some people are so cheap and stupid.

I disagree, I clicked through the ebates link which stated free shipping, If I get charged for shipping, I will dispute.

There wasn't free shipping through the Ebates link. Here is what the blurb said in the popup window - "Check out HSN's Free Shipping and Handling Store." I took it to mean there is a section of HSN that has free shipping - not free shipping on every product.

I was hoping, like everyone else, that the email confirmation listing $0.00 for shipping would mean that I wouldn't be charged. Oh well, $25 is still a good price.

My roomate received his package a few hours ago, and he ordered on Sunday. His tracking said that it was shipped out on 8/6.

My order which was placed saturday night still says "awaiting shipping confirmation"

I never did receive a tracking number, but it came today for some reason?!? Oh well, glad to have it. Pretty cool too. It comes in this gianta, stryofoam box, which actually resembles a styrofoam cooler that you may purchase at Walmart or something. Box is easily reusable for those that go boating, camping, etc!

Got mine today... so far i've had two of the burgers and they're not bad... everything is pretty small though. I looked at the steaks and wow they're small..

The dry ice has been pretty fun to play with though... 😀

chrisisbored, what state are you in? Also, what state was these steaks coming from? Last question, what carrier did it arrived in, UPS, FedEx?

If these questions can be answered, it will give others when to expect them.

Thanks
