Im planning on building a new computer based on the pentium 4 over the summer and had a few questions. I read about the new 850e chipset being released by intel in May and noticed that intel will not (or people say it wont be) releasing a 533mhz fsb processor until the end of august at the earliest. So whats the deal then witht he 850e? Since it only (supposedly) supports 32bit RDRAM, does that mean ill have to get the new RDRam and run it at a lower speed because I wont have a 533mhz fsb processor (im planning on buying the 2.4ghz processor). Can I run the memory at the higher speed and the processor at the lower speed? Whats the deal? I don't really want to overclock, but can the 2.4ghz p4 oc to 533mhz and run stable? What about DDRII? Thanks for any help, I am obviously a newb so please no flames :)

The Intel i850E (Tehema-E) chipset will support a 533 MHz FSB at its debut along with PC800 RDRAM. Although the Asus P4T533 will support PC1066 modules, Intel does not officially support PC1066 in the chipset. At debut the 850E will have a 533 MHz FSB (133 quad pumped) over the 400 MHz (100 quad pumped), and PC800 RDRAM. The only difference is the FSB and possibly the memory addressing
