I played the Descent 3 demo not too long after it came out and I don't remember much about it except getting lost and getting so annoyed at my stupid "guide bot" that I ended up shooting it 😀
 
lol - the problem is you gotta be really good to be able to kill your own guidebot :Q
you musta missed the guidebot commands window 😉

Descent3 levels are huge!
some take over an hour to complete correctly - and i know where im going! :Q
 
What I always liked is when Guidebot gets the Accelerator, and goes whizzing around exclaiming "Accelerator!" 😀 His vocabulary should include the phrase "Certain death is this way!" instead of "Finding boss robot..." 😉

I did manage to kill Guidebot accidentally a few times in Descent II, leaving Marker 11 behind ("RIP: Guidebot"). Typically this occured when I was using the Phoenix cannon to fire around corners in a lava situation, and he'd take a lot of lava-blast damage.
 
oh the memories - i spent over 5 years playin D1/D2 multiplay on KALI and still play D3 in singleplayer mode today.

IMHO: Descent 2 is still The Best multiplay deathmatch game ever. unfortunatly it cant play on todays computers because they are too fast. (or id still be playin it)

yes it does 🙂 ...and you can still play Descent1 today.
there is an unofficial OPEN_GL ported exe available to play it in windows.
its called D1X.

You can post your pics using this sitelink justy setup an account and you have a host for your pics(as long as they aren't prOn 😉 )
