thats the max the card can loop 3dm2k1 for over 6hours with. (100% stable)
maybe other ppl arent as serious about stability as i am .

its a visiontek.

i dont like anything onboard - to me its all just a waste, even on this board.
onboard video and audio and lan? no thx 🙂

the "G" board do have nice performance with that 4:5 ratio tho.

Any idea if this board solves the USB issues that the P4B266-C had when you overclocked it?

sorry but i dont use any USB. i have it all disabled in the bios.
there are a ton of USB options in the bios too. even voltage adjustments :Q

wow thug. you went way up man. put a mask on your face so if that chip blow up you will be safe heh.

listen which vantec are you using on your alpha hsf?

Thugs...How did that hsf combo run you??? How much rpm for the fan??? what are your temps at 1.89v at the 180fsb???

man i bought that Alpha Pal 8942 with a panaflow 36 cfm and it was horrible Load was going up high and yah i tried putting it back a few times to make sure it has contact but still it wasnt good. My AVC kicked its ass. And thats what i am on now.

the alpha wasnt cheap, but its worth a good 2*C over anything else out there.
the fan is 2150rpm.
i hit 52*C @ 180fsb while running benchmarks.

I have an avc as well and thugs fan seems to push same cfm as mine does but mine is running 4000 rpms....So I imagine the db is quite a bit lower then the 33db I think mine is...

I hit 55c under full load at 2.51ghz (157) but this board is running about 4-6c different then the asus p4s333 board...ON that mobo at 2.51ghz idle I was only 39c (5-6c lower then epox) and 52c high...all of that while running 1.775v (1.83V ACTUAL) versus only 1.675v (1.61 atual)...

Dino cause if there ws something better - id have it 😉
i really got the alpha so i could use a quiet low speed 80mm 27cfm 21dba fan. i was getting tired of all that +30dba cr@p :|

even with this low speed fan it better then my Thermaltake P4V 478 was :Q

oh BTW: the latest version of WCPUid can correctly identify DDR speeds on this board.

CPUz can correctly identify the Cas settings.

Very nice OC! 5 MHz increments are getting kind of boring though 😛, come back when you hit 100% overclock (3.2 GHz is a nice number to shoot for, no?) 😉 😀
