Needs fans, but don't wanna spend a bundle? Get a lifetime supply for next to nothing. ;)

80mm fans at NewEgg

I think this is now the everyday price. I bought 15 of them a few months back, and they came in really handy after I bought 3 more Chieftec cases recently. I thought this might be helpful for others. :)

Edit: I didn't mention the price. I *HATE* it when people do that. It's 15 fans for $15, shipped. Costs more if you buy less... It's a steal!

Buy 15 and it's free shipping at $1 apiece. Not bad at all.

I bought 10 of these when you could get 10 for $10. Their quality is pretty decent, but don't expect them to be quiet.

Yeah, they're not that quiet, but if you bought the Chieftec case at TD, they are so well built, you can fill them with 5 or 6 fans and it'll still be more quiet than a cheap case w/1 fan.

Great deal thanks,
I needed more fans.
15 fans delivered for Total:$14.85 (15+ = $0.99 & free shipping)

If you order 7, the total is $15.26 with shipping costs.
2 fans would be 14.16 shipped, unless you just need 1 fan 15 is the way to go.

I still pay extra for ball bearing fans on critical jobs, but have used both for years and haven?t seen much of a difference in the failure rate. I like the dual power connection and shielded cable on these. (not usually found on cheap fans)

I just stumbled upon this deal independently of here and decided to come here to post it. Guess I'm far from the last one to find the deal.

OP, I suggest changing the title of the thread to something like: "15 80mm fans for $15 - Newegg". This would be much more descriptive and easier to find in searches (took me 4 searches to finally search on "80mm" to find this thread).

I'm ordering 20 :)

If you look on the Egg, you can see the different quantity pricing. I bought 6 a while back, looks like 15 would be the deal. I have 3 in a case and it is still the quietest case I have.

Quantity Pricing
units price/Unit shipping

1 $2.09 $4.99
3+ $1.29ea. $1.99ea.
7+ $1.19ea. $0.99ea.
15+ $0.99ea. Free

I picked up 15 of these a couple of months ago. I still have like 9 of them in my closet. They definetly aren't quiet but like many have mentioned, they're not too bad to pair with some of these super cheap cases that have been coming up.

I hope your speaking about the newegg fans not being quiet. The SVC fans stated no louder than 25 dB. :/
