80mm fans everywhere - but thin ones? - n/m

I need to replace some fans in a power supply, but they need to be very thin - 15mm. The thinnest I've found thus far is 25mm. Does anyone know of any good places that have thin and cheap 80mm fans?

Never mind; it's probably just going to be simpler to stick a thicker fan on the outside of the power supply; might have to check that it won't interfere with my CPU cooler though. Globe Fan does make an 80x80x15 ball bearing cooler, but their site doesn't list any distributors.

Try Gizzo's fan page> fans for sale> down at the bottom he has some 80x15 panaflos- might be more fan than you need, but they're the only ones I know of.....

Sorry, but have to say it.
:Q

Am not ready to spend $15 for a single case fan; I might just have to stick a standard fan to the outside of the power supply instead.

I'm with you, $15 is steep. It IS a specialty item, though, hell to find at all. Attaching fans/wire grilles to the outside should work fine.

Have fun.

The aluminum hard drive cooler at case-mod has a very thin 80mm fan in it.🙂 I think it was 7 bucks. Maybe, you could use the fan from it.

I don't think that a HD cooler could move enough air to cool a power supply. I need at least 20CFM.
Thanks for the thought though.
