802.11g Setup Question

Hey,
I'm looking to have internet in my room bridged to my current wired network down the hall by means of wireless bridging. Let me know if this setup will work and if there is any other way to do this:

My wired network will be connected to this: http://www.buffalotech.com/wireless/products/airstation/wbrg54.php

My computer in my room will be connected to this: http://www.buffalotech.com/wireless/products/airstation/wlag54.php

I want to leave the option to expand the network in my room so I don't want to get a PCI adapter. Let me know if my solution is most efficient. It is to my understanding that i can have an 802.11g laptop anywhere (my room or near the wired network) and still gain access to the internet. I believe that if it is in my room, the bridge in my room will strengthen the signal.

Let me know if what I stated was true.

Thanks,
