802.11a WiFi gear on closeout, not for most, but good prices for those who understand the tech

Actually, my Uniden 5.8GHz phone (a refurb, nonetheless) is the best one I've ever had. I can use it at the clubhouse of my apartment complex, roughly 100 yards away and through many walls. Can't say that about any other phone I've used. As stated above, I bought it so it wouldn't interfere with my WiFi, but I'm thinking about getting rid of my land line, so I may go wireless-A for security purposes when I figure out how to get my DirecTiVo to use the internet.
