800 celeron vs. 800 PIII in a laptop?

The P3 is faster by nature, but it won;t BLOW you away because HDDs for laptops are only 4200rpms which can be a huge bottleneck for some apps. Get a celeron unless you plan to play games on it.... then you should get a 5400rpm hdd, but they usually need the extra speed for the size of the disk.

You wont notice it in the most basic of programs, word, excel and I.E. but In Anything a little more taxing like photoshop the PIII is as quick in speedstep more as the celeron is (i.e about 150 mhz).

Well I don't have any #, but before Tualatin PIII-M's, they should be much closer to each other than they're desktop counterparts, because until the latest Tualaltin PIII-M's, Mobile PIII's were stuck with the same 100MHz fsb of the Celery.
