<< Irregardless is just bad English, IMO. Regardless of whether or not it is in the dictionary. Just because enough people say it incorrectly... :| >>

Darn right!

From Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary:

Main Entry: ir·re·gard·less
Pronunciation: "ir-i-'gärd-l&s
Function: adverb
Etymology: probably blend of irrespective and regardless
Date: circa 1912
nonstandard : REGARDLESS
usage Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that "there is no such word." There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead.

So, the dictionary says, "Don't use it!"

don't worry snut, i'm only 17 and wiegh 125. though i can bench 180 with a little spot. i wish i had more meat or fat on me. iw ould be so built. i'm jsut skin, bones, and muscles.

I think it's pathetic. First, he will HARDLY grow any taller if any! Second, I don't think he will be in that profession for too long, because his body probably is already worn out for most of parts.

saw him on tele bout 3-4 years ago on some show (can't rmemeber)..both of his parents are really fit and aerobic (he abnormal)!

Is his mother called Betty and his dad called Barney? (which would make him Bam Bam) 😉

That's nothing. Way back on That's Incredible!, there once was a 10yo little girl who could lift the rear of a midsize car from the ground. She just grabbed it behind the boot and simply lifted the rear wheels clear off the ground. That was the most amazing thing I ever saw on this program. Fran Tarkenton was flabbergasted.

Is it certain that he won't grow taller? How many kids his age lift to prove that presumption.
Poor kid, all that attention, admiration, confidence. Not me... I grew up like a normal teenager, ignored, ridiculed, my confidence attacked daily.
But I guess I was the only one who experienced that, huh?
Also, what's so great about being tall? Many people aren't. Should we pitty them? Only if they were weak and bullied by stronger boys.
If the kid is still being a kid as well, he'll be just fine.

Also, I seem to recall that healthy kids his age are very active and have very little body fat. If they sit around all day on their computers they get fat. Oops, that's what I do. Gotta go.

I need to run more and get in shape.

I work out at least 5 times a week (and sometimes work out even after baseball practice)

I'm actually getting healthier at the moment. (you may find that surprising, but I am)

The kid doesn't have more stamina because he can do more squats. He actually does less work when he does a squat or lifts weights because he doesn't lift them as high.

jeez tigerweight, thats damn good pound fer pound.

im 15 weigh 138 or something and can only bench 135. Although in summers when i work out a lot i was better,

at 13 i was 120 and could bench like 130 and that was with a non-muscular kid's body. i have a little more mass now.

oh yeah,

i have a friend whos a gigantically fat chinese kid, im gonna say he weighs upwards of 250 (massive) and he can bench more than 250. You cant see it but your bones would frekkin snap under all that fat unless the big people of the world had muscle mass underneath. I bet he cant even jog.

haha
