I agree. I was surprise that they just jumped on him like that. Not only was he 6 years younger, but he was only 8. Prosecutors are not in the public's interest, they operate in their own best interest to make their record look good. That's pretty scary when doing that can ruin other people's lives.

this shouldnt even get to a point where lawyers are involved, the boy shoulda just got a talk from his mum about whats right and wrong etc, the girl should be given counselling to find out if there is something a little more serious going on in her mental state....but not involving courts ffs, thats just stupid.....

if the boy had been a bit older, say 10 or 11, then it could have been a different situation, but then if he had been that age it may have gone further than just touching if he was maturing early....so then its possible a need for legal intervention may have arisen....

I don't know about you dude but when I was about 8 my parents hired the daughter of a friend (probably 17 or 18 at the time) and I'd have given anything for her to let me feel her up. She was hot as hell in my little 8 year old mind.

It definitely shouldn't have happened (and didn't in my case, dammit), but it wouldn't have screwed me up for life.
