Sorry but if you are 19 and already slept with 6 guys, you got problems. And yes as I and others have said, some women even have standards and will not date a guy that has been with a lot fo people. So the double standard is not holding to strong with time.

You need to get with the times. Let me ask you a question. Say the average chick is now having sex for the first time around 14-15...is she supposed to now get married right away too?

For the average dater, you see a few people a month...then you focus in a couple of them or dump them all...once you get to the third date or so, sex usually happens if you are in an adult relationship and not some wannabe fairy tale where you spent the first 6 months online chatting how you two were meant to be.

Having only two partners a year since 15 would put you easily at 8 partners by 19, a totally low average number in my opinion.

However, in these sort of things people tend to project their own lives onto the debate and since 'they have' only been with 3-4 people, they want to feel that is normal. Then they say things like 'I turned down at least a dozen or so+' (I can't remember all the chicks I have been with, yet alone who I turned down and turned me down).

Fact of the matter is if one was so virtuous as they claimed when it came to lack of nooky, they probably wouldn't be here.

I think it's way more respectable... But, that being said, most people in relationships for that long end up getting married and wondering how it might have been with other people, especially if one is unhappy in the relationship. 😉

Hey I'm equal opportunity here. If it?s a chick, sure it?s slut. I don't have a word as simple as "slut" for the guys, but simply "AR AR WOOT WOOT" describes the "unshaved sideburn to the chin blank eyed daddy pays my bills while I fail college and get laid and drunk" types adequately enough that the term "ar ar's" has been coined amongst my circle.

Either way I'd say this chick is screwed, no pun intended. Either it was lots of guys in short time (definate slut) or she started way to early...

Mind I'm not religious or anything and I don't expect people to be perfect little catholics or whatever, but we have welfare, population, and teen breeding problems for a reason. Especially near the border where its seems the goal is sheer numbers and social system draining.

Of course the reason is because those who are responsble are out numbered by those who aren't for obvious reasons.

That seems borderline desperate.
I'd also be more concerned that she's really young.

You can usually judge how serious they are by how they act. When you see two teens that are barely old enough to see over the dash leaning toward the center of the car drooling on each other, chances are it's a get laid and move on relationship.

Actually no, the wedding is set for Feb '06 with my fiancee of 3 years after dating for 3 years before the engagement.

And anything I've ever posted to these boards could just as well come from her fingers 😀

And to buck the modern trend, she won't be 9 months pregnant at the wedding nor after, and in fact we plan to put off kids for at least a year after the wedding just to rub that point home. It flys in the face of everyone I know and they hate the fact that we managed to do everything "the right way." (ie: school first, house first, kids on OUR terms, etc)
