it happens to me all the time.

my college professors grew to expect it. for 3/4 of the papers I wrote, I'd re-read it the night before, realize it was crap, and then start over (eventually turning in the paper a week late). they were usually cool with it, though, because they knew that when I eventually did deliver, it'd be quality work.

one professor let me extend a paper over summer break 😛

Yeah, this isn't something I need to do. I'm usually ok with papers for school (if there is a deadline), but stuff I write for fun bugs the hell out of me.

One of the teachers I didn't get along with in high school loved reading my papers. I managed to insert enough humor into the subject of biology to keep the bitch entertained.

It's complicated. I've known her for 3 years, but couldn't like her for a while since she was the object of affection for my best friend. She didn't share his feelings. I found out I had feelings for her while plastered in a bar and... Well, whatever. It's fairly mutual, but she's... Something. Content isn't the right word, but maybe comfortable. It's complicated.
