Right now in woodridge, IL it's -8°F with a Real Feel of -24°F and Winds at 12mph.

I looked at Fairbanks, alaska and its only -2!

My legs went numb on my walk to the L today and there was steam coming off the river and lots of ice forming. :Q

I dread the trip home.
 
Weather.com says 0 F right now, wind chill around -15. Gets down to -10 or 15 at night. Wind chills throughout the past few days as cold as -35. Car still hasn't started, and I think the battery is too weak now after trying it a bunch of times. Might warm up to a high of 10 or so later this week. Yippee.

edit: Can't wait to see the gas bill. For just a couple of weeks of use the one we have now is like $220. 🙁
 
I was sitting in French mesmerized by the fact that I could see my breath.

And I don't think I've been able to completely feel my hands since my shower this morning.
 
Bleh... I'm in California now, with a high today of 68. Later today I have to fly to Wisconsin, where the high is 2. Yay.
 
-5°F ...feels like -16°F.. but on the plus side it's supposed to SNOW tomorrow so the temp should be a balmy 8 degrees with full driving idiocy in effect.
 
The temperature is supposed to climb every day this week. I actually caught myself saying "thank god" when I saw it was going to climb to 19 degrees later this week.
