8 bit industrial music. oh my god. (Pretty Hate Machine in 8 bit)

No Lifer
seriously, how long did it take this guy to do this?

This is Pretty Hate Machine, re-imagined in its entirety on eight different 8-bit systems, so I've named it "Pretty Eight Machine". Sound configurations include: SID/6581 (Commodore 64), POKEY (Atari 800), straight 2A03 (NES), AY/SCC+ (MSX+Metal Gear 2 or Snatcher cartridge), SN76489 (Sega Master System), 2A03+VRC6 (Famicom+Castlevania 3 cartridge), LR35902 (Game Boy), and OPLL (MSX-MUSIC or Japanese Sega Master System).

Gotta say, Atarible Lie 04:38 is pretty badass and would have been awesome on an 8bit system.

Its actually quite common. Won't take long. Chip tune is what its called. They have those devices hacked, its really impressive.

As someone who spent countless hours chatting about stupid crap in AOL chatrooms and IRC listening to PHM on repeat in the 90's, I approve.

marked for later.

Pliotron, what is your avatar from. it looks familiar but I can't place it.

Atarible Lie, would have been awesome while playing Contra...

edit: or Castlevania!!!

I'm really not huge on chiptunes, but wow, PHM might be the absolutely best choice for them to bring me on board.

Really good.

This part's hilarious to me, though:
Immediate download of 10-track album in your choice of MP3 320, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.
