You should run for Congress as a Republican. With your level of insight and intellect, you'll fit right in. :D

Nah... that would require him to give up his awesome "job" where he is billed at $250 a hour! Basement GOP shill pays pretty well it seems, no need to run for office.

There appears to be an oversold rally going on. Not a big one though. Let's see what the weekend brings.

Market fairly flat

Gold dropping like a rock rather than a precious metal

Back under $1700

Gold down $100 1663

Sweet, time to load up on some more for when the Fed eventually gives in and showers more fiat from their helicopters.

Bernanke to save us from the death grip of deflation.

Where do I sign up to get that money though, it doesn't seem fair that only 20 banks get it :(

Edit: buy the dip

I hope that bubble is ready to pop now, the yellow metal fanatics are almost getting as worn out as Dave's chicken little impersonations.

LMAO, not gonna happen as long as Bernanke insists on printing money and manipulating the markets.

I made 40% in the last 3 days, I can't complain. Fuck the stock markets. What a joke they are.

Nothing but a short squeeze heading into month end. Low volume too. Can probably rally a little more but nothing has changed from a macro perspective and it certainly isn't safe to jump back in, IMO.

DOW UP 272 11043
Doh! Why does it have to go up 2+% on the day that my wife and I both have our 401k put in. Sure this is a minor amount (~$50 lost), but it really bothers me when it happens. If only it went up tomorrow instead.

I did make $4000 on the silver swing the last 3 days though. So I shouldn't complain. I just dislike not having control over the timing of my money.

Where were you when it jumped 12% in the month of October? The single largest monthly gain in the history of the Dow? You aren't really tracking the market as much as posting every time there is a drop. Due to the nature of the market there will always be down days.

Try putting more commentary up with your posts, we can all check the stock ticker every second of the day.

All that said, I'm still not buying the market right now as I think the bottom is still a way down. The temporary Oct boost did nothing to increase my confidence and only reassured me that instability is still here.

The market elevation of 12% was bullshit, and there was no reasonable reason for it to elevate like that.

I, on the other hand, have made a 50% return on my portfolio the last two days. w00t.

Market down quite a bit today but not a big deal compared to how much it gained back.

Dow still 1700 above 10K

Oil is still in the 90's

Gold still 1700

So the whole European excuse is just that, an excuse.

Why are you only posting here when the market goes down? Last time you posted was 9/30. You skipped over two weeks of gains and decide to post again today. Is there some sort of point you're trying to make with these cherry picked statistics?

If by "market" you mean the HFT algos passing liquidity back and forth on rumors and mere expectations of a rumor, then none of this should be a surprise.
