7DXR and RAID problem

i have this board and i have 2 60 gig hds striped in a raid 0 so i have 120 gigs total. when i see the promise bios screen come up it says functional, but when iboot from a win98 boot disk, it does not detect that 120 gig drive, and fdisk does not see it as well. when i try to boot from the win2k cd, it does not see it as well. please help me out, i dont know what to do about this

i set the boot as

floppy
scsi/raid
cdrom

and i enabled the jumpers to enable ata/100 and raid

Try looking at the amdmb forums under the Gigabyte section. I know there are a few RAID related questions and fixes and one of them might just solve the problem you have! I use my Gigabyte 7dxr RAID controller as a ATA100 controller so unfortunately I cannot help..

i went there and they dont seem to know the answer to that problem as well, it seems i am not the only one. is 120 gigs too much for windows 2000 to take? i tried like breaking the 120 into smaller partitions but that didnt work as well
