So, on a recommendation from my earlier thread I picked up the Corsair CX600 to upgrade my PSU for the incoming 7970.
Now that the parts are here, and I'm looking things over, there are two 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors from the PSU, and it looks like I need each of those to combine into one 8-pin PCI-E connector via an included adapter that came with the video card, which leaves me short one 6 pin PCI-E connector since the video card takes one 6 pin (75W) and one 8 pin (150W).
Do I have that right? Did I just get bad advice and I need a different PSU or just another adapter to utilize some other power connectors from the PSU?
