There are a couple threads with users who have them.

Holy shnikes..! I don't beleive I'm actually going to go off topic in my own thread, but did you see the picture of the four GX2's in the Gigabyte Quad PCIe x16 board? It doesn't work properly, but it's still a sight to behold.

Well, I just got a chance to try out a bit of Oblivion. I tried out a couple of different settings, all were at 1680x1050. I went HDR/16xAF, 4xAA/16xAF, and then 4xAA/8xAF, and I really wasnt very impressed with the performance. After scratching my head a bit, I took a look at the control panel and realized that I still had trSSAA enabled, so I disabled that and loaded up Oblivion, and it was really smooth - even over the foliage. It's a shame that you can't use HDR+AA on this game with this card, bit bloom+AA looks really good as well, and runs smoother then HDR+AA (although I bet it would run smoother on the Radeon too).

Edit: I realized that I was kind of in a hurry when I typed this, but I should have mentioned that with HDR/16xAF it was quite smooth as well. However, Oblivion (like every other game) looks like ass without AA, so I'm not really prepared to sacrifice AA for HDR.

Edit 2: Also, just for the record, whenever I mention AF settings, I mean HQAF.

Ok I don't have one but Rollo just purchased (yes he bought it) a XFX XXX 7950 GX2 (570/1550 clocks) and had this to say about it:

BTW- just got my 7950 in. Teh roxor- 7938 3d06 with all at stock settings, I think my CAS 2 RAM is even at CAS2.5. Sweet- I got 7093 last time I ran on that rig with the 7800GTXs, so that's a nice bump and a very high score for a stock clocked single card I'd say. That's a fresh install, so I only have TRL installed so far, played a while, looked great, crashed. I'll have to look into the ways of TRL I guess to see if it's a stellar piece of code like good ol' Wallet Raider: Angel of Sloppy Code was.

I think I am going to be all about the 7950- it's quiet, same size as the 512 7800GTX it replaced, lighter, and reputedly kicks ass in performance at 19X12. Not too shabby for $650..

I can tell you this- if I'm Joe Single Slot, I'd buy this card before ramping up to a SLI or Crossfire motherboard.

Seems this is turning out to be a really nice card. If I wasn't waiting on a G80 I'd probably have picked one up as well. I asked him to do a mini-review and PM it to me and that I'd post it here.

I thought I saw a flash advertisement where (I think it was MSI) was selling them for $580.

nitro, have you experienced any troubles with the SLI yet? I know that when I had my 7800's I'd have weird things happen. For instance, one time I booted up and a Windows popup came from the system tray telling me the SLI connector wasn't connected when it was.

Also, how would you rate bloom compared to HDR?
