7950GT KO 512, good deal for $250 or no

I went ahead and bought this at my local computer shop. Highest ati card they have is the x1950 pro, which they want $275 for. I'm getting a new mobo etc at another place today, so I can't benchmark it yet.

Was this a good deal? Most of the reviews/threads I see keep saying go with an x1950xt. I would've if it were available in store As long as I can game @ 1600x1200 with no slowdowns, I'll be happy.

It should perform slightly faster then a 7900GT with a mild overclock ... an X1950XT would have been faster & is available from Newegg @ $249 + $6 shipping, but you should have no problem with 1600x1200 in most games with no slowdowns.
