Ripped link from the H forums......the XFX rep said it would be available in a few days. He also noted he could not say if an 8800 version was forthcoming in AGP. Looks my brother is finally inheriting a 7800GS.

Anyways, there's no real reason to get this since there is an X1950XT AGP coming on the market soon that beats the 7950GT hands down. That's not to say a 7950GT isn't sweet; I've got one myself.

thank god i got an 8800GTS 320MB and made the jump to pci-e. im willing to bet that it'll be sold at an insane price (as in, you can get a better card in pci-e for that same money - example 7600GT AGP/7800GS AGP).

but still, nice to know that agp STILL isnt dead.

Oh, yeah, it's already out. Well, anyways, this 7950GT is slower than the normal PCI-e version as well. Go with the X1950XT, people, it'll be much better than this card. Although my 7950GT did OC rather well.

There is a rumor about the G84/86 (8600 series) being available in AGP. Apparently it's chip is pin compatible with the 6600GT.

Wow, be curious to see a side-by-side between the AGP and PCI-E version. I guess at anything less than 1600x1200, it might be pretty comparable.
