This might be a stupid question, but what does the "KO" mean?

"KO" edition just means it has EVGA new advanced cooler (6C cooler than their previous versions) that also covers and cools memory chips.

Personally I have no idea about Monarchs customer service, but of considerable note is that you get a free Age of Empires III game which makes it a slightly better value. Evga has a good (lifetime) warranty program so even if you happened to get a bad one shouldnt have a problem getting a replacement directly thru them.

Yea, Monarch's RMA support is horrible, but as stated EVGA will replace it with no issues.

another question will be evga step up program , can it be done through newegg and monarch? thinking of getting this now then stepping up to the 7900gtx will that be possible?
I want this card and this deal is pretty sweet.

Yes that would be possible. Ya its really not that hot. Prices are just dropping. Thats why it looks hot. Give it a month and it will probably be down to $250 or so.

I've been working on an Opteron system...I may just have to wait a few weeks or a month to see what other prices drop! 😀

I'm hoping that when the X1950 comes out the X1800 512 will drop to <$250, then the 7900GT will hopefully fall to match it.

I've been holding out for a while, but it's starting to get really difficult to keep passing on these offers. Next generation cards won't come out until probably next year, so prices should bottom out before long since there will be no new cards released to drive down prices.
