I think I just ruled out temperature for sure.. I ran Oblivion, there were screwed up meshes all over the place.. and temp was again around the 55-58C range, never higher. I must have a bad card then? The drivers can't be bad.. otherwise everyone with the nVidia 84.21 drivers would be having probs.

Reinstall Drivers. Test another game. If it still has the same problems, its the card.

It happens in Oblivion and the nVidia Luna demo so far. I'll test Battle for Middle Earth II and see what happens.

Do I just reinstall the driver over the current one? or uninstall first, then reinstall?

Tested Splinter Cell Chaos Theory & BFME2.. both seemed fine. I figured maybe it's because Luna & Oblivion use some more intensive operations..but the Mad Mod Mike nVidia demo runs perfectly. I can't figure it out..

Every time I had issues like that where it would happen in one game and no another it always was the card in the end (though most of the time the card had well worked off its debt to me). Sometimes it wasn't even though most intensive app either, but every time after a couple driver updates with no solution it would start screwing up in windows as well before totallly eating it.

BFME 2 is NOT at all GPU intensive in modern day terms... its created from the C&C Zero Hour engine (just been tweaked improved a little i think...) Oblivion is a much better test!

If a driver wipe (use Driver Cleaner)/ re-install does not help then i think it may be a bad card buddy :(
