this is with only a 30MHZ overclock on the gpu. the memory seems to be really good. the memory is with the ocz bga ramsinks with no fan!

hopefully i will see 650 - 700 with volt mods.

temps are lower in 06 becase i turned the fans wide open on the radiator.

So this is 7900GT SLI OC @ 580/1820? And what did you get for 06, I can't see the score. Are you using stock cooling?

whats the noise like on those cards? they have rather tiny coolers with small fans, i was wondering if they make much of a noise?

well i get 6004 with single X1800XT in 3dmark06 and 12,111 in 3dmark05

Another thing to note is that XFXs 7900GT XXX edition is clocked at 560/1650!!!! for around 320~

What I want to see is a benchmark comapring the evga 7800gt, the 7800gt CO/SE(470mhz), 7800GTX and the 7900GT and GTX

Thats the benchmark I want to see. I dont think theres one done yet. Ive seen many comparing 7800gt's in sli, but I dont care about sli.

Well thanks. Id still like to see an updated one with a 7800gt as well with the latest 84.20 drivers. The new 84.20 drivers released supposedly increase fps in many games. Id like to see it with the same driver version compared to 7900 cards, as well as 7800gtx. Thanks though. Will read.

my highest score in 06 with 7800gt voltmodded to the max was right around 8000. with the 7900gt stock volts i did around 9200. that a huge increase in 06. the 05 results are much less impressive, but these card rock 06

does water cooling cool the all the ram chips or just the gpu core?

im guessing 7900gtx sli overclocked would get 11k 3dmark06? I think its almost time to release 3dmark07 lol.

Moon, IMHO the problem is there is no one review to compare the stock OC'd 7800GT and stock OC'd 7900GT. Most everyone with a 7800GT isn't running theirs at stock specs, and for anyone considering stepping up or upgrading the new 7900GT won't be stock either. It would be nice to know just what sort of gain is involved.

If the memory is uncooled (no heatsinks at all) it will fry in a few days.
