SilenX is very cheap low quality fans. They claim they are quiet but in comparison to a Panaflo, Acoustifan or Nexus they cannot compete.

As for 14dba on that SilenX fan i highly doubt it. YOu might get more noise out of the electricity flowing through your house and computer.

As for the original post... well as everyone said, its Thermaltake. Thermaltake MUST take their acoustic reading from across the room or something, because they are no where near that quiet. NO WHERE NEAR.

rofl, i thought so. i knew these cant compare to the panaflos

i have a panaflo m1a on my cpu and exhaust opening, but i wanted a blue LED one for the front, so thats why i was looking at this one. i wanted a quieter one in the front to replace the current blue led one on my antec super lanboy....

so does ANYONE know the specs on this fan? either the cfm is off or the dba is off. duno which...

you know...i actually have two empty slots on my fan rheobus...but i dont like being iffy about what im actually giving it if the fan doesnt have an rpm sensor...

i guess i should jes look for one with an rpm sensor then
