They've been $290 after rebate in Canada lately. I believe Direct Canada had them.

Still, $290 AR is not $20 more than a Hd7870 for $250 AR

Back on topic, I think one of those HD7870s at $250 is the one to get. I know the HD7x50 are better overclockers, but the HD7x70 have already been binned as better chips, so while percentage wise they might not match the 7x50s, they will still get a nice boost
