You have got to be kidding? The 650 Ti non boost is on par with the 7850, The 650 Ti boost is well above the 7850, Also the 650 Ti has more than enough memory speed to handle 2GB and so does the 7850. I have no idea were you people get your info from. only a few benchmarks of the 650 Ti have been done and they are usually AMD fanboys doing the reviews. My card is a 650 Ti and it can play all games with eye candy with no problem at all. Yes the 7850 does have a little more power. But it does not justify the huge price gap. My 650 TI was only $104 after tax. The cheapest 7850 I could find was over $140 It is a good card but it is not worth it, If you are going to go around the $150 area you might as well pay a little more and get the 7870 or the 660.

You must be kidding itself. Take a look Anandtech gpu bench13, 7850 is little bit slower than GTX660 but about 10% faster than GTX650ti boost. GTX650ti non boost ain't nowhere speed wise compared to 7850.

A GTX 650 Ti is about the same speed as a GTX 460 1GB. Go for a GTX 660 or a 2GB Radeon HD7870.

Of course it will do worse than a card that has been out longer and had the drivers matured, there is no recent benchmarks of either card together, They pretty much just had biased AMD fanboys do the benchmarks only once and that was it. I have access to to my brothers i5 with a 7850 and my i5 with the 650Ti and the 650Ti always beats it by no less than 4fps. And the funny thing about this is my brothers 7850 is in a ivy bridge i5 and my 650Ti is in a first gen i5 750, Besides look at the sales that says it all, The 650Ti beat out every mid card in sales by a wide margin, Sales don't lie.

HD 7850. I could get Ultra with 2xMSAA on BF3 @1440p with 60fps with drops to 50fps sometimes, this was Crossfired though.

Nope they weren't obsolete as the 750 still can't touch 7850.......which has been released as r7 265....

Fact is out of those two cards....get the 7850 2 gig version....and oc the hell out of it.....

Drivers for Kepler, GK106 were very mature when the 650 TI was released,

you can verify in 10 different 650 TI reviews, the 7850 is a significantly faster card, the target with the 650 Ti was to beat the 7770 by a decent margin (since the 650 non ti failed to do that), not the 7850, the 7850 only found close competition on the 650 TI BOOST.

the 650 TI tends to be a cheaper card than the 7850 for a good reason.

GTX 650 Ti 2GB are way overpriced for the performance. An R7 260x is slightly faster for less.
