Hello everyone, I suspect it will be longer than we think before any mid range 16nm gpus are out and at 200 so while if I did upgrade It wouldnt be till the holidays this year I just wanted to get your guys opinion on whether I should and to what. While I was always someone who prefers new im open to used cards and there are some really good prices on ebay. Im not sure if my psu has the amps for a 290 or I would probably look to upgrade to that but there are some good prices for 280x's. Iv also considered used gtx 680s since there are some good prices for those too but not sure if worth and maybe crossfire but everyone seems to recommend not to go that route.
At the moment I can still play everything at high still, the only games that made me drop to that were bf4 and watchdogs. While I thought I would wait for 16nm Iv recently really wanted to upgrade even though I probably dont need to, but fallout 4 is coming and I plan to play rainbow 6 siege as well other new games coming out later this year so im considering an upgrade now as a stop gap till 16nm lineups are fleshed out more in 2017.
