7850 poor performance in BF3?

Hmm, I do not think that explains why my gtx280 plays the game plays fine?

I have carefully gone through looking for applications running in the background / monitoring system resources, as well as ensuring old drivers have correctly uninstalled.

Thanks for the suggestions tho, keep them comming. =] 😛

Power tune maybe throlling your 7850. Test with power tune +20 or stock clocks to see if it still lags.
