7800gtx and power supply

Alright i got a 7800gtx bfg it requires 400w and 26amps my power supply is 450w but only 20amps. Should i try to plug in my 7800gtx or could i possibly risk breaking somthing?

if the gpu requiers 400watss and 26A I will get a new 600 watt PSU cuse the cpu alon take around 80-200watts check how many wats your will need http://www.extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp

20 Amps is pretty low for your system, especially with the OC you have. I would definitely upgrade the PSU.

well it wont and you canr ruin your parts in a way so you should get a new psu

those psu calculating sites are bogus. the fortron 450 supposedly produces 346w combined rails if i read that right on the tiny picture, which should be what, 29 amps? someone check my crappy math, please.

qft.there is 1 accurate one that calculates amps but it has a limited selection of hardware. some japanese site.

I am getting a new psu i ordered 1 but it hasnt come yet and it shoulda been here a week ago. If i dont get it this week im gettin a refund and then ill have to wait another 2 weeks for another 1 and i realy wanna get the card up and running to play some css and stuff.
