EVGA
(445/1076)

What do you think is the better deal? for some odd reason The Evga is 5mhz underclocked don the core and the memory is oc-ed 16mhz more with Free battlefield 2 for $419

Or

XFX
(450/1050)

The XFX witch comes with nothing and is clocked at EVGA
(450/1050) for $399...

I think the EVGA could be the best deal plus I could OC it back to or if not higher than 450mhz. So I could be be getting this card for $370 and than add bf2 for $50. And that is the deal there...

What do you think?

Get the eVGA version and you can get a SLI motherboard with it. Sell the motherboard on ebay for some added discount.

NICE!

EDIT: I don't see the GT + Mobo though... only GTX..

I have also heard the motherboard is actually a Jetway... which isn't known for its high quality.

I read that review. States the Jetway board does very well and uses 100% Japanese Caps.

Yeah it's fine...the only thing it doesn't have is Firewire. But honestly, who uses that anyway? ;)

Anyway, you're right. I could've sworn I saw the 7800GT with the same package. Ah well...here's the link to the deal. I still think it's a great deal regardless.

eVGA = $449 + free motherboard ($150 value)
Newegg = $419 + Battlefield 2 ($50 value)

End price after savings:
eVGA = $299
Newegg = $369

:)

Sounds like a good deal then . I should have orginally said I was purely speculating. I have no first hand experience with Jetway quality and companies certainly can change ala OCZ etc.

I uses firewires... :D

Yeah that Jetway board actually is a quality board, but you can always sell it and that gives you like an extra $100OFF or so.

You can get the eVGA 7800 GT without BF2 for $380, then buy BF2 later if you want.
