7800 reporting error

my 7800 GT is reporting this upon starting xp. This is a new build and new system. I have a seasonic s12 and an asus a8n32 sli with one evga 7800 gt. I am using latest drivers off nvidias site. I tried plugging in the ez power connector but i shouldnt need to because I have a 24 pin PSU and im not running SLI. What is the problem do you think? thanks

To protect your hardware from potential damage or causing a potential system lockup, the graphics processor has lowered its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations.

Is the 6 pin PCIe connector plugged in? And also plug in ez power just for the hell of it (if anything it will increase OC with more stable voltages).

I got the same setup (look in sig), I had to take out one of the cards because one of the ram sinks fell off 😛 and when I rebooted nvidia drivers gave me some weird error. I ignored it and then booted up 3dmark and noticed it ran REALLY slow. So I find out that I forgot to plug in 6 pin pcie connector. The small things are what gets you.

Now if that isn't the problem, then I'll have to take a moment and think about it. Well does it at least run game ok?
