7800 GTX wont perform as we'll as it should

Hi ,

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing my system to perform so bad ?

I dont overclock anything .

System Details :-

AMD 4800+ AM2 @ 2.5GHz
2 x 2GB Corsair Twin2X XMS2 6400 C4 DHX
2 x XFX GeFORCE 7800 GTX 256MB

When i try and play for instance Sims 2 at High Graphics Detail 1400 X 900 Res i get Framerates of 10 to 15 FPS ?

I have the 7800 GTx SLi running in performance Mode .

Flight Simulator 2004 wont even run ?

Any help with this would be much appreciated .

P.S. I have installed the Latest DirecX 9.0c June and i have nVIDIA Driver GeForce Release 175.16 .

[ I tried GeForce Release 175.19 and it was worse ]

Maybe try going back to an older drive. Is 175.16/19 officially supported for Geforce 7? If not you should go back to the latest driver that is. If it is supported, you might want to try an older one anyways.
