7600GT to X1800XT?

Is it worth it? Its a BBA X1800XT 512mb. Whats this compare to on Nvidia's side performance wise? Will only have $50 in the upgrade(if I upgrade).
 
The X1800XT is comparitive to a 7800GTX or 7900GT. However, the X1800XT usually has better IQ than any of the 7 series cards. IF you can get it REALLY cheap then go for it...otherwise you might be better served with an X1900XT/X1950XT (not the X1950XTX).
 
I'm getting it for $165 and am selling my 7600GT for $115. I'm not giving $200-300 for it. Even I know the X1800XT is quite a bit better than the 7600GT I was just mostly wanting opinions on if its a noticeable performance boost.
 
wow, how are you getting a x1800xt for so cheap? Thats a great buy. 1800xts are hard to find as it is online.

Proof? Last time i checked its only 5~10% faster in most D3D while slower in OpenGL titles while also including games such as AOE3 where the GT is faster.
