Hello,

I'm rebuilding my rig and I would like to get the most performance for my buck. I already have a single 7600GT in my system right now and I wanted to know if my system would perform sufficiently better with another 7600GT? Or should I purchase a 512MB X1950Pro, if their is a substantial gain in performance over the 7600GT SLI?

My budget is around $170-190. I was considering the SAPPHIRE X1950XT from newegg, but it's only 256MB. Plus I read that the X1950XT gets extremely hot under full load (I don't know if this is the case with the X1950Pro, maybe someone can clarify.)

Games I am currently playing:
Stars Wars BFII
BF 2142
BF 2
Gothic III
STALKER

Future Games:
Crysis
Team Fortress 2

Future upgrades:

CPU:AMD X2 3800(939)
Motherboard:ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe
Memory: 1.5 GB G.SKILL 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400
PSU: Ultra 600W or Rosewill 550W

Thanks!

WHat resolution are you playing at?

X1950XT is the best choice if you're not playing super high resolutions.
