I was told that the 2600HD got driver issue, has this been resolve. I'm trying to get either one, but leaning towards the 7600GT because its got better drivers and less problem. Can someone tell me if the 2600HD has issues or not. The last thing I want is to get a card that is problematic.

all comments welcome.

Go thru AMD's front door, and you will not find drivers for the 2600 HD AGP. So I suppose the answer is no. This is not a surprise...it was made clear many months ago that AMD wasn't writing new drivers for their AGP cards. If you google "2600 hd agp driver", there's a lot of doom and gloom. All is not lost if you're patient, know where to look, and know what to do when you hit the inevitable...example.

So my vote goes to the 7600GT. Avoid the headaches.

i think part of the problem was ati never officially released an agp 2600. other 3rd parties did however, using an agp bridge chip. so you have to get the drivers from their site and not the ati one
