Last month my X1600pro card died on me (would not POST 3times/5) so I got a replacement AGP 7600GS SILENT from ASUS. I installed the car yesterday, and it boot fine everytime, exept the frigging thing dont work well at all. Installed lastest drivers for vista 32 bit, the thing would blue screen at the start of vista or simply show nothing. I could not reach the desktop. Then managed to install the international version of the driver fine, tried to 3d mark... worked well till some point where it crashed (lost monitor signal) .. Tought maybe it was heat..I put a room fan on the side of the open case....no luck.... card loose monitor signal/crash randomly even using jsut vista aero. The bluescreen I sometimes see in vista talk about nvidia driver....but does not aprear long enoug so i can read it in full.
tried driver cleaner, no luck.... maybe It a driver problem but could the card de DOA...? I'm a bit lost there ! might try reformating the whole thing....any ideas?
