I've finally got new 75GXP and installed windows 2000 Pro but somehow after installation, it fails to
boot into windows 2000 ...
could someone tell me what's wrong with this?
Alos is there an issue using 75GXP and WD273BA on both primary and secondary master IDE channels?
Somehow either one of HD failed to be recognized by bios when it was attached on
2ndary Master, while Primary Master was recognized normally.


current configuration is:
733 pen !!!
P3v4x Bios Ver.1003
Primary Master: 75GXP jumpper setting for 75GXP 8::8
Primary Slave: WD273BA jumpper setting for 75GXP ::88
Secondary Master: Fireball KX

What do those jumper settings translate to? I would make sure they are both set to be master and not "single drive" (usually the default setting). Also, make sure your bios is set to Auto detect master and slave devices on both IDE channels. What other devices are in your computer?
