hmmm, my DFI handles in like a champ, with whatever memory I stick in it... what is your idea of a moderate oc? I have tried three diffrent 2*512 sets of value ram, and the all did 215 or better on the FSB at at 2.8 Volts. Corsair, Mushkin, and Crucial... the latest G. Skill is probably value ram, but it didn't like the higher FSB, so I just ran a divider per Zebo's excellent advice.

512MB sticks tend to overclock a little better than 1GB sticks, if that helps.

it depends on which CPU you use since the memory controller is on the CPU and not the motherboard or chipset

the older s754 athlon64s had problems with 2x512 but the more recent ones are fine

its because 754s has problems running 2x512 in 1T mode (read it somewhere by zebo's post)

No problem running my 2 x 512 Crucial value ram at 1T in my DFI board,and that's overclocked to 250mhz @ 2.8v 3-3-3-10 1T
