I'm building a new PC.

Here is what I chose:

GA-Z68XP-UD3
Intel i7-2600K
EVGA GTX 460
Corsair XMS3 - 12GB

I'm undecided on the PSU, but I narrowed it to these two;

SeaSonic 750W Gold or Corsair HX750 Pro Series

What do you guys think?

Are you planning on SLI? You system doesn't need more than a 500-600W unit if no SLI.

Between those two, I'd get X-750 unless the HX was significantly cheaper. Where are you buying from?

No, no SLI.

I do plan on running several VMs, Photoshop, some video editing, and a hackingtosh.
Do you think a 650W SeaSonic would be enough?
I do not game.

GTX 460 requires two 6-pin PCIe connectors which you can find on a 500W unit. However, if you don't even game or use CUDA, you'll never stress the GPU to its full power, thus 500W is easily enough even with a heavy overclock (meaning high voltage) on the CPU. Is your CPU overclocked?

I'd recommend Seasonic S12II 520W, XFX 550W, or Antec Earthwatts 500W, HCG-520, Seasonic X-460/X-560, to name a few.

Then both that PSU and GPU are way overkill.

Unless you are encoding videos, I would go with an Antec Earthwatts 380 or Corsair CX 430 and a motherboard that allows you to use the 2600k's on-chip video.

True, he probably doesn't even have need for the GTX460. Selling it would almost afford a 128GB SSD.
