750 Duron and FIC AZ11 Mobo for $79 at Fry's

I was in sunny southern California (San Fernando Valley) this morning and visited the Fry's on Canoga Ave. They didn't have the processor and the mother board was more than $75 for it.
Is this a specific store for the combo package?

This ad was in the Oregonian on 6-29-01 for Wilsonville, Oregon......funny thing, I bought this combo & paid $128.00 on 6-29-01.

I just happen to call the store this AM to see about the Soyo/800 Duron deal advertised for the Bay area & learned that I had been screwed without a kiss.

They told me to bring the receipt in and they'd make it right.

That's the thing about Fry's...do they have some morons working there? Oh yeah!!!! But their return & price match policies are excellent.
