Companies will just figure out a way to get under the "5% of revenue" clause, so while it makes Hollande look good to his socialist supporters, it will have little to no effect.

These socialists are all pieces of shit. Does this moron not realize the consequences of his idiotic taxes? Hopefully all the rich people leave and screw over France to teach them a lesson.

some people pay dangerously close to 75% of their income in taxes here; my dad paid about a little over 45% of his income in taxes in 1995... sucks ass that the years he made the most money was when the clinton rates were in effect.

We shall see. I agree that these taxes are beyond excessive, but will be interesting to see what happens. Glad the experiment isn't taking place here.

Money can't buy the French way of life. French bread, French wine, French cuisine, French countryside, French cities, French sexual mores. Please, your Davy Crockett mentality would never understand.

Some of the rich already moved. Hopefully more of them to leave to teach those socialist morons a lesson.

How are the employers supposed to do the 2013 part?

The employees have presumably already been paid their 2013 salaries.

And why do you think that was? The whole economy is booming despite the Clinton rates...just some coincidence?

I agree, honestly if Hillary runs the main reason I would vote for her is to have Bill in the White House again. Hell even if Mitt adopted Clinton and had him move in I'd vote for Mitt.
Sometimes I wonder why a politician does'nt make their platform simply I will do whatever Bill Clinton tells me to do. That is my platform.

What's up with people putting the percent sign ahead of the number? Where is this taught? Nobody says percent seventy five, they say seventy five percent.

The economy as it relates to a presidency is to a great degree the luck of the draw. Presidents inherit the results of events that occur many years before they take office - both the good and the bad. Don't give our most recently impeached president more credit that he is due. Things from an economic perspective were good during his presidency. How much of that is attributable to him is up for argument. He had a Congress that stymied him to a great degree. Was that good for the economy or bad?

I say seventy five dollars, too. 75$ then?
Yeah, I knew somebody would bring that up... I will refer you back to my earlier post in which I asked two questions that could be answered. You, have answered nothing.

You guys and your fucking politics, I swear. When are you going to realize that socialists, democrats and republicans are all the same? Hot air in a talking suit, firmly in the pocket of big business.

This tax hike was done to get votes. Meanwhile, the rich are shoving their income into shell corporations and tax shelters and paying themselves $1 a year. Paying zero income tax.

They do this so we can easily and very quickly tell who has and who hasn't rudimentary mathematics skills.
