75-80c temperature while gaming

Hi every game i play I get around 75-80c and my room gets VERY warm. What is wrong with my PC? Every game it will spike from 80c

Do I need to change something in my PC? or change a settings in the AMD settings? This is not normal because my case gets very loud too, which is really annoying. I have no idea whats going on. I really appreciate the help. Thanks. :'(
 
Hi Cap, this could be the CPU or graphics card overheating. Install and run HWMonitor, play a game until it gets loud, then take a screenshot (Alt+prtscn) of HWMonitor and post it here. That should tell if it's overheating or not.

AMD's recent cards are more power hungry and thus produce more heat and noise than nVidia's. That's what you have to deal with in exchange for having better performance per $$.

Improving case airflow / ventilation around the card can help.
 
I will point out the weather changing as your number 1 problem. Its like having the radiators on in the summer with the windows closed whilst using a conventional fan and expecting to be cool. You have to let the warm air out and the cold in otherwise your computer is just going to recycle air and continually warm it up under load.
 
Is the 80 degrees for the cpu or gpu, or for each of them? In any case, those temps seem normal. Is anything overclocked? If so you could go back to stock settings to lessen the heat released, but as Yuriman said, AMD cards are a good value but do use more power and produce more heat.
 
Those cpu temps are crazy high consider the max package power was only 53w. Either your computer is caked in dust, something isn't attached properly, or you have extremely bad airflow.
 
The fan is obviously working as it should, but the heatsink isn't setup right, is caked in dust, or has been bumped loose. Have you recently built the system, or just replaced the graphics card? Do you have any thermal paste available? If it's the factory cooler it may have 4 plastic snap pins instead of screws, so you may be able to simply snap the loose pin/s back down.

Yea recently I built from scratch because I bought a new case and GPU. So to solve this I need to add thermal paste and double check if all my parts are in the right place? I am scared because everytime I finish gaming my hair goes all static looooool
 
Normal GPU temp. OP, change your video card, if you don't like anything. Or water cool it.

However, your CPU temp seems to be higher than average. Do what others have suggested ^.
 
That CPU is way up there seeing how it appears to be throttling at only 3.8, with the VCore that low.

I'd guess you're case has pretty bad airflow myself or something along those lines just from looking at the numbers.

Something does look out of whack in general cooling wise all over though, like many have said.

Won't help much. Those GPUs, when stressed, just would normally run in the 80s all the time on air. By design. Water cooling is the only feasible option here.

Are you using the factory heatsink the one that came with the CPU? If so, you don't need extra thermal paste, but you do need to remove the plastic from the bottom of the heatsink to expose the pre-installed pads. Just in case, here is a video showing proper installation of an Intel heatsink. All clips need to be locked down properly so the heatsink makes good contact with the CPU. If you feel you need to use aftermarket thermal paste, be sure to clean the factory thermal pads off the bottom of the heatsink first.

It also contributes to the overall noise of his system. I have heard those cards running, whatever review sites are saying, they are anything, but quiet.

The CPU fan may be the prime offender here, however. I hate noisy rigs just as much as the op.

No I am not. I just added new thermal paste. 'plastic from the bottom'? where is that in the video? I don't see any plastic thingy D:

It's just sooo freaking loud. I have no idea if it's the GPU or the CPU making the noise and the noise is loud as hell I can hear it next door. If it's the CPU I will buy a new one because I cannot stand it anymore, but I want to make sure if it's the CPU that is making the noise and hotness. 🙁 🙁
and yes all clips etc are locked securely.

Also, I just tested everythign again, and I get the same results 🙁
Nothing is working atm. Btw is this normal that my hair gets very static? I mean when I put my shirt near my hair it goes up... i swear something is coming out my pc and one day it's going to electrocute me lol. 😱

I got a strange feeling it's the GPU? when I don't game my pc is fine the temp is fine etc noise is not loud etc. ?? Can it be the GPU? wow i hope its not because i cant get a refund now fml -_-
