I agree with you 100%. My beliefs have a little more of a Christian slant to them, but that's one of the biggest reasons for my decision to remain abstinent.

No shame in choosing that point-of-view... give yourself time, you'll do great in relationships, just make sure it means something while you're in it.

How many of you would consider marrying a girl who you knew used to date just for sex? Or would be willing to admit to the girl you want to marry you that you used to date just for sex? I would never date for sex, nor do I really think too highly of those that do. But if you can answer to both those questions that you don't care, at the very least you're not a hypocrite. The rest of you, rethink maybe.

I couldnt' have sex with a girl I didn't have feelings for. I've only had 1 one night stand and it was horrible; I felt so empty afterwards. I see sex as something that should be shared by 2 people who are very close to each other.

excuse me, but i think if a girl used to date just for sex, that's usually not the information she would share. one can only HOPE that their mate is "clean" but hey... don't be a prude.. what's wrong with sex?

in my 'sleep around' phase, i'd hope all the chicks i dated are doing the same thing..that makes it easier for me to squick them.

maybe a couple years later when i'm in a 'seek mate' mode, i'd hope my mate doesn't used to do that...or just don't tell me about it.

Would I? I did.........from 1987-1993. During that time I had two serious relationships (Each lasted about 9 months) and roughly 36 long lasting one night stands.

1. The one that is very hot and sexy and you would want to take to the bed

2. The one that is nice and you would want to take home to mom and not have her slap you, but be proud.

In my bachelor days I dated girls just for sex...as long as it was a mutual thing.

I never misled women by lying to them tell them I loved them or sh!t like that.

You can be mature about it and have a mutually sexual relationship without being a prick.

And there's nothing wrong with that IMO.
