sorry to say, but how does first class shipping cost 5 dollars?

at best it would be a 3 dollar s/h fee

2 bucks max for postage + $1 for a REALLY NICE padded envelope

<< well after he offered to send pic's of the games bad shape I said "yes" and he never replied and now he is offline. >>

What would concern me is that he may have copied the game and then scratched it himself to have cause to return it. I hope that's not the case here. gl dude...

Personally, I always inspect whatever I ship out before it goes to the post office. He sounds like a total dick and I generally don't trade with people who come to me saying "well i need this tomorrow, you need to ship first class"

Last guy that tried to do that wanted me to ship a $300 case next day out of state all on a COD. WTF? I told him 5 times that I would not do a COD, only paypal or MO as I specified in my post and this guy wouldn't relent. So I told him he'd have to pick it up from a local dealer and his immediate reply was "just did, thanks a lot"

Sadly, the bad traders really stick out here, but on the flipside, it makes it easier to weed out who to trade with. I'd leave him a neutral eval myself only after getting the games back. He's giving you way too much sh!t for what is supposed to be a easy trade :disgust:

if this guy has to copy games from a buy/trade forum transaction, then hes a dumba$$. so many other ways to get a game to copy from such as borrowing it from a friend or mopheus/direct connect, etc. i personally would not go through the hassle of online trading to rip someone off just to copy a game, there are so many other easier ways to get a game for free.

My theory is he copied the games, then scratched them purposely so they do not work. I hope that isn't the case, because if it is, it is very sad.

I'm thinking he copied and maybe purposefully scratched them also. It's pretty easy to tell if the scratches were intentional too. Only so much can happen in the mail...even if the discs weren't in the case and just sitting in an envelope I bet they'd be usable.
