I think the issue that alot of people had with it is the fact that you posted some rediculous number like "get $1000 back or more!" in your title. Also you are talking about doing a price adjustment not weeks or months after the original purchase but years. This is very similar to the Costco scam. In both cases technically nothing is wrong with it but it does go against some morals. And quite frankly, how cheap do you have to be to save a receipt for over a year to get some cash back? That seems like alot more trouble than it's worth.

A few other things. You don't seem to understand how this forum works either. Your request for an apology was posted in hot deals. Why don't you try posting it where it belongs - Off Topic. It's ironic that you break the rules to demand an apology.

I don't usually make comments, but who do you think you are to DEMAND an apology. Apologies are given, not demanded. Who do you think you are?

Yes, you probably shouldn't "demand" an apology from the mods. If I were in charge of a forum, I wouldn't take too kindly to somebody demanding anything from me, and especially if I still believe in his guilt.

1) some people spend 10000 dollars a year on clothes
2) this is still a hotdeal
3) these companies offer these policies so that they can attract customers.... why not use them???

i just feel that i was attacked for no apparant reason and want to know why

This should be taken care of in emails to the mods, not in a forum post... Regardless of who is wrong/right...

that is true but perhaps zloop trying to make a point by posting it for all to see. whether i agree with his judgement is not important.
BUT, i honestly don't see any deceit or fraud in his previous thread. (except the part where he says DEATHLY HOT... not that hot)
i have a friend who works at banana republic and she does price adjustmants all the time.
gap/banana republic, same company, have sales ALL THE TIME and for those who don't know the policy, it can save you a lot of money. my brother had a jacket adjusted 70 dollars. now that's a lot of money.
this can be a hot deal for those who don't know the policy.

zlooop,

Coming from who works their a$$ off in the retail sector, I resent your attitude. You seem to think the stores "owe" you this PM. The fact that they offer/honor it should amaze you and endear you to their establishment. But you like so many others think it is ok to play games like you do. If you were to try this in my store, you would have a whole new thread to start... in the MOAN section. Cudos MODS, zlooop, enjoy your vacation, plz send pics.:disgust:
