700m microphone

I recently purchased a usb tuner devices and it has sound output which I used to plug into the 700m's microphone port since the 700m does not have a line-in port. When i plug it into the microphone port, i cannot hear any sound. does anyone know how to fix this? i also tried to set the mircophone volume level all the way up with boost enable and still no sound.

open the volume control (near the clock), options, properties, and make sure microphone is checked, and volume is up. you have to enable both recording and volume modes for the mic to "play through."

does anyone with a 700m have this problem? I've enabled the mic and vol settings already

have you tried going into control panel to see if windows has it turned off for "power saving"?

i dont see any options enable/disable microphone in the power management panel in the control panel.

is there a program out there that will play back whats on the microphone right away. ie convert the microphone to a line-in port
