Remove, rebuild, replace... all pretty much the same, right? So much for routine oil changes.

OTOH, there are some great used Ferrari's available with about 30K on the clock 😉

Sure. I always take my 550 Maranello to the friendly folks at Sears.

That's what I drive:
Dodge - Mitsibishi motor, Getrag transmission, assembled in Mexico decent car all-in-all
Eagle - All mitsu here, assembled in Normal,IL

What I really misss is the Renault Fuego and Le Car, anything with three lug nuts is cool in my book!

Did they really use three lug nuts? Boy, the French are about as good at building cars as they are at battling Nazis!

Yeah, remember when PRV was formed? Peugeaut, Renault, Volvo... almost put Volvo out of business. For a manufacturer of "Sweedish Bricks" that is quite an accomplishment. Volvo long known for boxy but durable vehicles, to this day it is well advised to avoid any model which might still be runnung on a PRV engine.

BTW the Ford Cobra 4.6 V-8 with cross bolted mains etc. now that is cool! When they need major service they are returned to Ford for analysis.
