My 700E o/c'ed at 933 for over a year, stable as a rock at 1.75v

loaded temps run 47-49 this has been a seti crunching machine 24/7.

Suddenly the machine won't boot at 133/133/33, just reboots to the bios setup screen.

At 133/100/33 setting, at reboot, a long beep (5seconds), reboot to bios setup.

The machine happily boots at one notch below 933. I think it is 925mhz.

Have I toasted my cpu or what? I have heard about a long beep at boot but can't find any docs explaining.

I have been at 1009 bios for some time, changed to 1011 when this problem cropped up but there was no change.

I have also changed vid cards, pulled out 1 stick of ram.

Looking for suggestions

Apparently since your'e doing SETI@home 24/7, heat might play a factor. Why not let it cool down for a bit, then try and boot up? It may be the diode on board saying its too hot. When I overlcocked my Pentium II this turned out to be a problem, and heat kept on rebooting the system. Let it sit for a while, and I was back up again.

Might also try cleaning the HS, apply new paste, and while you are at it reseat the CPU. Get any dust out of it, blowing it out.
Have you installed anything else, that might be running in the background? Has your PSU maybe gotten worse?

You might have finaly worn the CPU down, as silicon gets worse over time, never better.

I'd probably clear the CMOS too, and set it up again.
